IDR is seeking a Senior Programmer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting the design and development of scalable web applications within a dynamic technology environment. 

Position Overview for the Senior Programmer:

• Support the design, development, and evolution of scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Own architecture decisions and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build API-driven solutions
• Ensure high-quality code standards and scalable system design
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from planning through deployment

Requirements for the Senior Programmer:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 5+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience 
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases 
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs 
• Solid JavaScript experience with exposure to modern front-end frameworks
