IDR is seeking a Senior Programmer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting the design and development of scalable web applications within a dynamic technology environment.
Position Overview for the Senior Programmer:
- Support the design, development, and evolution of scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Own architecture decisions and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build API-driven solutions
- Ensure high-quality code standards and scalable system design
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from planning through deployment
Requirements for the Senior Programmer:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
- Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Solid JavaScript experience with exposure to modern front-end frameworks
