IDR is seeking a Network Migration Technical Project Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading large-scale wired and wireless network migration projects within a prominent industry with a focus on planning, coordination, and execution. The organization values technical expertise and strategic oversight to ensure seamless network transitions without direct hands-on engineering.
Position Overview for the Network Migration Technical Project Manager:
- Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of network migration workstreams, ensuring alignment with program milestones
- Translate complex technical engineering tasks into clear, actionable plans for cross-functional teams
- Oversee wired and wireless network migration activities, hardware refreshes, and sequencing
- Monitor daily progress, identify dependencies or blockers, and escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical milestones with operational and communication plans
Requirements for the Network Migration Technical Project Manager:
- Strong background in network implementation and migration projects
- Experience with wired and wireless network migrations, hardware refresh, and large-scale enterprise rollouts
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-dependency environments
- Deep understanding of migration sequencing and operational checklists
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details for business leaders
