IDR is seeking a Microsoft Intune Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role involves supporting a leading organization in enterprise endpoint management with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Windows systems, and modern device management technologies. The position offers an engaging environment where technical expertise directly impacts organizational security and device lifecycle management.
Position Overview for the Microsoft Intune Engineer
- Develop, maintain, and support enterprise endpoint solutions, including Surface devices and Windows OS builds.
- Provide advanced third-line engineering support for escalated issues related to Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Windows OS.
- Design, implement, and optimize device management configurations, policies, and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint security standards and support certificate-based authentication solutions.
- Generate technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to promote operational efficiency and self-service.
Requirements for the Microsoft Intune Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, modern device management, or Windows systems administration.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Intune, including Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Endpoint Security, application deployment, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, provisioning, device enrollment methods, and troubleshooting deployment failures.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills, including automation, application packaging (PSADT), system configuration, and workflow orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS internals, including imaging, customization, driver management, and OS lifecycle management.
