IDR is seeking a HR Business Partner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Long Beach, CA. This role is within a healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional patient care through their dedicated staff. The HR Business Partner will collaborate with leadership to drive human resources strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Position Overview for the HR Business Partner:
- Partner with HR leadership and management to support organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives aligned with hospital goals.
- Deliver and support HR programs across core functions, including operations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, leaves, workers’ compensation, training, and employee engagement.
- Advise leaders and employees on employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and Collective Bargaining Agreements; escalate complex matters as appropriate.
- Identify trends and root causes, recommending and implementing solutions to improve employee relations, performance, and retention.
- Coach leaders on engagement, performance management, and talent development strategies.
Requirements for the HR Business Partner:
- 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, and communications.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment regulations.
- Proven ability to advise and influence leaders on complex employee relations and organizational issues.
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
